Low Morale

Warning: Work rants and ramblings ahead.

Things are like stupidly fucked up at work.

It's bothering me muchly. I know work shouldn't get to you but, yeah.

So yeah its not entirely all her fault but Sue has upset alot of people since she started less than two months ago. Me being near the top of the list.

She is ompletely taking over and yes I know she's a manager so it's kind of her job but yeah. She goes from one extreme to another being unsuppotive on checkouts and staying downstairs all day to running (badly) and putting the runners on tills while she fucks everything up and then leaves us to pick up the pieces. Argh.

She doesn't really seem to want to get to know people. I mean I know I've been there for ages and know peoples quirks and habits and what they're capable of but still, she's not even trying. She's pushing people who don't want to be pushed and shoving people who can do the job in the opposite direction.

And she's got blatent favourites. Well one. One being Katie. Now don't get me wrong I love Katie to bits. But Sue has her up on a pedistal and is shitting on the rest of us. I mean she shoved me on the desk and got Katie to run on my first running shift. I twas not amused. It anoys me at the best of times when I'm shoved somewhere and not asked, but when it's my running shift which I've fought for it just pisses me off.

To make things worse she has all but told me that she wants Katie to take over Saturday night running. Which you know is blow to my confidence if nothing else. Yep just when I thought I was doing a good job she knocks me back. Adrian of course has full confidence in me. Just had a couple of great shifts with just Adrian in so you know.....

Anyhoo morale is very low on the department. Half the people want to movedepartments or leave all together. Yeah that's going to be great.

Argh.

For the first time since I started I'm seriouly considering changing departments. I've got offers from other managers. So yeah.

But I've been told that I'm not allowed to move or anything. So for the moment I have to stay put.
